30 wins before the all-star break? Before we've even played 50 games? How good does that look?

To me we should be loose, free and easy for this game. The Pistons should win this game because without Kwame and Larry they should be better. We could win but probably won't. Doesn't look good dropping 3 games to the Pistons but considering our injury situation I'll take it with what we've done this season so far.

The problem playing the Pistons is always Billups having big games . He always seems to neutralize Arenas. Maybe he has a thing about playing Gilbert because he always brings his A game against us. I watch Billups against other people and he plays solid but against us its full throttle.

Rasheed is the other thorn in the side.

We could steal this game though if we're clicking offensively because the Pistons struggle to score.

I think there is definately a rivalry there.

It started 2 years ago when Arenas was having his breakout year in Golden State. There was a game where he and Chauncey went back and forth all night and both finished with like 35.

At the end of the game the Pistons were down by 1, Chauncey has the ball probably 5 feet behind the 3-point at the top of the key running the clock down. He waited and waited and waited until it was at about 5 seconds, started his drive- stepped back, and knocked down a 3 right in Gil's face. One of the gutsiest game winning shots I've ever seen.

Anyway, since that night it seems like Arenas has been trying to get him back. Chauncey usually kind of plays in a shell and limits his own offense, he takes the point guard thing seriously and really doesn't shoot all that much anymore. When he plays Arenas and sees Gil attacking him and sees him taking those long three's, I think that makes Chauncey come out of his shell to show him how it's done.

I like watching them play each other and look forward to tonights game.

Can't see us winning this, Billups is a Wizards killer and has already been mentioned he seems to bring something extra against Arenas. Maybe it's cause their both on the same shoe brand and both are in that one commercial.

I guess before long Gilbert will be featured in his ad and Billups will be playing the back. I don't know if Gil's personality will sell though , hard to know if a guy like Gil is very marketable.

Gil is building rivalries with a few guards in the East, Francis, Wade, Billups, but the one Gil really wants I think is AI.

I don't see them as the same types of players though . Gil doesn't dominate the ball that much.

Man, when Jamison is bad, he is bad. Is there some sort of record for contested twenty foot jumpshot bricks that he is trying to break or something?

that half clearly shows why people say we have on of the worsts defenses in the league and the Pistons have the best.
