I disagree slightly Noretheast this game spells danger to me from some comments I'm reading about the Wizards some of the guys mainly Stackhouse are becoming a little complacent. He believes he should be the 1st option at the end of games and that could become a problem. The Hawks like with most coaching changes usually give a team alittle boost in energy and focus. We NEED to win this game or the griping could really start between Stack ,Collins and MJ. This is a big game no doubt. All that being said the Wizards will win a tight battle. Kwame's ready to start coming on bigtime.

talk about a low scoring game, ugh, I knew it would be low, but I thought it would be 80's low not 70's.

Sweet victory. The zone defense is slowly starting to take over NBA basketball, the Hawks used it all game to slow down the Wizards slashers . Fortunately though the Wizards were hitting the erimeter shots. I thought a key to the game was Kwame's defense on Raheem and Lue's outside shooting off the bench. Stack also made many highlight reel plays dunking on Shareef early in the game.
On a side note did anybody see the new gatorade commercial they showed right after halftime featuring MJ. It was current MJ playing 1 on 1 against early 80's in Chicago MJ with Hair. Showing early MJ with many great dunks. Brings back memeories for me seeing early 80's MJ He was the most spectacular athlete I'd ever seen, then as they finish MJ from Carolina shows up wanting next and old MJ telling Chicago MJ better get your young but out there. Great commercial just letting folks know who've forgotten how great MJ was.

Actually Mike the Hawks are pretty good. They just came off a win against the Spurs, and they didnt go down easily.
Oh yeah and I saw that Jordan commercial as well. That is arguably the best sports commercial I have ever seen. Amazing.

Great Win for the Wizards, i hope many more wins follow now especially that January is coming and thats the month we need to shine in with some games we can win.
The Michael Jordan " Gatorade" commercial was magnificent & Spectacular, i would love to have all 3 of those MJ's in a Wiz Uniform!!! we would go 82-0 with
Michael Jordan ( Now )
Michael Jordan ( 80's )
Michael Jordan ( UNC )
Jerry Stackhouse
Center <-- i would even settle for Michael Doleac with that line up.

I got to disagree, I think the Hawks are awful. Talented, but still awful.
For one, they don't have much in the way of wing players aside from Big Dog. Ira Newble and Dion Glover would make a nice pair of backups if they had a good SG in front of them, but they don't.
They need to figure out how to unload Alan Henderson for a decent but equally overpaid SG (Michael Dickerson, Wes Person, Kerry Kittles, Penny Hardaway?).
Maybe they'll be better now that they've fired Lon Kruger.
Anyway, I digress. I still haven't seen the commercial.
