Some of us predicted this. Does he get any playing time is the question. Since we cut Varda he may be with us for the year.

This is really a BIG deal signing to me. He won't help because he's a chubby shooting guard who can't jump. I have never really liked him so its really no big deal to me.

I dont understand why they play with this guy. He obviously has some game or someone in the franchise loves him. So why go through the motions to trade, sign, cut and the sign him again. Moves like this make you question teams management

Based on his summer league he is no way chubby. He worked out extremely hard in the off-season and is now quite 'ripped'.

No you're right I saw him last week in the D league and he's in good shape I was just mentionng that as my general perception of him. He's okay but I still don't see what alls the fuss is about getting him back. To me he's a dime a dozen when I watched the D league several players players looked like they have very similar unspectacular games. He's solid amd young and probably won't have much impact.

Does anyone know if it is true that MJ talked Simmons into leaving DePaul early? I live near Chicago and listen to a lot of sports radio. There is a host who also does play by play for DePaul who insists that MJ got into Bobby's ear and encouraged him to leave before he was clearly ready. If in fact this is true, I'm glad they resigned the kid.

LOL, I have no response to that.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure no one will ever be dreaming of Ratko Varda.
