I dunno. They offered him 4 years and 30 mil in the the offseason, which Kwame turned down.
My guess is that if he continues to roll up those kinds of numbers over the end of the year, he's probably looking at a deal that averages $8-12M per. If you look around the league at what other young big guys make, it's pretty much a guarantee he gets a big offer despite missing most of the year.
Brad Miller - 6yrs 67 mil - age 27 at the time
Kmart 7yrs 91 million age at the time 27
Carlos Boozer - 6yrs 70 mil age at the time 23
Zach Randolph 6yrs 84 mil age at the time 23
------- some distance in terms of perceived quality ----------
Mehmet Okur= 6yrs 50 mi age at the time 25
Troy Murphy 6yrs 58 mil age at the time 24
Jeff Foster 6yrs 30 mil age at the time 25
Mark Blount 6yrs 38 mil age at the time 28
Nazr Mohammed 5yrs 25 mil age at the time 24
Radoslav Nesterovic 6yrs 42 million age at the time 27
Kenny Thomas 7yrs 50 mil age at the time 26
Malik Rose 7yrs 42 mil age at the time 27
Adonal Foyle 6yrs 51 mil age at the time 30
And Kwame's gonna get every opportunity (again) to establish himself with Jamison, JJ, and Jarvis all ailing.
