Good Game guys...
Anima is a Celtics fan so am I..
Hughes is a beast.. Love his game.
The 24 second clock expired on Gilberts drive to the basket.
Why complain though ? .. You guys had like 20 more FT's than us ..

Season over? The Wizards may playing poorly, but just look at what their competitors are doing. Chicago and Orlando have already lost tonight and Cleveland's in a close one against Indiana.

Re: Game Thread: 3.13.05 Wizards @ Celtics
I watched the second half of this game and recorded it on VHS so I could test out a new device I just bought that converts VHS tapes to MPEG format. Assuming the device works, if anyone's interested in the game tape, send me a PM.
Very entertaining game, and I don't see the reason for all the pessimism on this board. The Wizards did well to come so close to beating a red-hot Celtics team on the road. Great game by Jared Jeffries, but Gilbert Arenas was going back to the style of play that made me not like him in the past, holding the ball the whole shot clock and taking a bad shot at the end of it. He needs to go back to playing the way he was a month ago.

Re: Game Thread: 3.13.05 Wizards @ Celtics
Just bad execution down the stretch. I agree with RP, the backcourt isn't playing like they were a few weeks ago, too many isos and ball dominating. Hughes since his injury hasn't been getting assists like he was earlier in the year. Arenas doesn't look healthy to me, that sore knee has him shooting horribly the last few games. Jamison looked a little better tonight.
Kwame just looks out of place on the team. I really think the team plays worse when he's in the game. The line-up with Jeffries and Jamison actually looked like the team that had won 7 in a row, I'm guessing Kwame will be coming off the bench for the rest of the season. I'm not blaming Kwame, but he just isn't fitting in with the team right now. His confidence appears to be at an all time low.
Overall we looked better than we have in some time. We have a soft schedule for the next 4 games, if we take advantage of that we'll be alright.

Re: Game Thread: 3.13.05 Wizards @ Celtics
I missed a lot of the game, but from what I saw, there was way, way too much isolation from Arenas. When you're only able to see maybe 18-20 minutes of the game, and you still see more one-on-one play than you'd like, it's not a good thing.
