Apparently his deal was only guaranteed if his reason for being cut was not his injured leg. This is going to arbitration and I can't imagine Grizzard winning his case because this injury directly led to his inability to participate in training camp.

This is good news because if his deal was not guaranteed then it does not count against the cap for next season. I believe it was a 2 year deal he signed.

Defintely good news. It was curious that they signed the 2 year deal for a second round draft choice. It makes more sense now.

But that leg injury has screwed rods career up..
He might be flippin burgers next year!!
if he didnt hurt his leg he would have gone in the first round ahead of prince and woods and salmons.. just becuz he is so athletic.
Now his game is awful; in the nbdl they are playin him at point and its not working out, he has more assits than turnovers his shooting % from three is like 14%..
if rod played with the intensity of brian cardinal he would be one of the best players in the draft
oh well its a shame

I am very dissappointed with Grizzard's stats right now, everyone, including me, thought he deserved to be drafted in the top 20!
It's sad that he drops down to the 2nd round, and then gets cut by 2 teams, and is now averaging horrible stats on a NBDL team!
