I forgot who mentioned (Jazzy1, BCH or Local) that we may have had the best FA signing of the off-season in LH. He is proving that point correctly. People forget how young he is at 23. He is younger than these players:
Juan Dixon
Andre Miller
Steve Francis
Jason Terry
Jamal Tinsley
Rip Hamilton
He is playing like a well-tested veteran this year:
1) is shooting .491 from the field
2) has his lowest TO # since 99-00 when he played 10 less minutes per game
3).414 from 3-point range (highest by far)
4) 5.5 rebounds per game.
His assist number are a little below but his contribution since he has gotten healthy is tremendous.

He is exactly what I wanted him to be when we signed him.
He had a couple of questionable plays last night, one a lob to the non-materializing Haywood who should have been there, but he is making the right decisions out there.

Yeah I'm loving Hughes he isn't anything of what the criticism has been he's not herky jerky he looks as if he's settled in with the fact that he doesn't have to make plays as a traditional pg just get the ball in the offense go off screens and make himself available to score. He's the best FA bargain of the summer. I'm glad we didn't take Billups.

And it wasn't even one of his better games the past few weeks. He had what would have been a highlight putback had it gone in, but stuck with it for the second try.
He also has been extremely effective in nailing his open 3s when he gets his feet set.
Folks we haven't seen the best of Larry. Larry is currently being shackled by Collins. When Larry starts to play without the shackles, he is similar to a poor man's Kobe.
