Not that what this guys says is worth a hill of beans but here is his latest:

Chad Ford:
I don't think the Raptors are that nuts. I think the trade stuff with Carter got blown way our of porportion. He's not going anywhere. He puts seats in the stadium. Plus, with this reoccuring knee injury, his stock has never been lower. As for Stackhouse, I think the Wizards will be content to let him go this summer and take their cap room and run.

I really think that MJ is hurting the wiz with his moves. I don't think him and stack are enough to get them anywhere past the 1st or 2nd round and if both leave after this year all you will have to show for them is a mid to late first round pick. I don't think the wiz are in trouble they do have some young talent like brown who looks like a young ben wallace with an offensive game. I didn't understand the pick of juan dixon (I thought it was purely a pr move since he is from the area of course I could be wrong but I saw the pistons do that with mateen cleaves) and I haven't seen much of jared jefferies but I assume he will be a good player. So had jordan not come back and done the deal for stack your looking at

c haywood/thomas
pf brown/l8
sf jeffries/russell
sg rip/...
pg hughes/dixon/lue

so that team doesn't probably doesn't make the playoffs like you will with the stack and mj team but like I said your not going to win the championship this year so winning a few extra games with stack and MJ will just hurt this team in the long run. Thats just my .02 though

Yeah Ford is as bad as Vecsey is. He says things without basis and acts as if his prognostications are solid gold. Stack I think remains here the Wizards need to keep a player of his caliber and if he did leave it wouldn't be that bad of a blow. I do think Stack figures into the Wizards plans bigtime and they just add around him to build a contender.
