Here is the AP story about team bonding. How does the Times and Post miss stuff like this:

Stackhouse thinks part of the secret is team bonding. Ever since the team's Christmas party, he said, players have spent more time together away from basketball, getting together after practice or going to dinner in groups of three or four.


"When I was in Detroit, everybody did it,'' he said. "It's not something you force guys to do. Guys have to want to be part of a team. That's what you're seeing.''

I saw Haywood, Russell, and Larry at VIP club on New Years.

Yeah, they are starting to gel on and off the court.

It really seems that Hughes, Stack, and MJ are really developing a close bond.

I agree MJ, Stack and Hughes are starting to find a real rhythm with one another. They're playing off of each other wonderfully instead of conflicting. They finally found that middle ground where each takes turn looking for their shots. Everyone seems settled in on exactly what it is they're supposed to be doing.

Big things is all I will say Big things.

i couldnt agree with you more. our backcourt with hughes stack and mj is a real threat. they seem to have confidence in each other and it pays off in forms of wins. i'm so excited about the wiz right now, man, anything could happen. if the guys keep on that work a 4th seed in the east wouldnt be too far fetched ...
maybe I'm getting carried away here a little too much, but forgive me, I'm so excited!

Actually we are 2 games away from 5th spot and 2 1/2 games from 4th and after January is over we could find ourselves in the middle of the east and fighting for the eastern title along with Indiana and New Jersey who i doubt will keep having the same success as they did earlier in the season.

Orlando needs to lose a couple of games and we win a couple so we can push Orlando out of 7th and we take over 6th or even 5th place with Bostons 4 game road trip they might go 0-4 which if the Wizards won the next 4 will put Boston in 7th or 8th place and Washington in 5th or 6th if Orlando, Hornets and the Sixers help us out with a couple of losses.
