Stack out a month? Poor Grant Hill

Look at the bottom of this article. This would be a big blow. I really like Grant but those ankles are killing him.

Notes: Collins has been saying that Stackhouse will miss at least a week, but he said before the game it could very well be a month. Stackhouse will be re-examined Saturday. "We just don't know," Collins said. "That's how seasons change." ... The Wizards' 38 first-quarter points were the most they've scored in any quarter this season. ... The Wizards are 14-0 when scoring 100 points or more. ... Orlando's Grant Hill played 12 minutes, all in the first half, before leaving with more soreness in his bothersome left ankle.

I am not sure he meant a month when he said a month. I think he meant, he has no idea how long and hopes it won't be much more than a week, but that he really doesn't know.

The scarey thing is, Stackhouse going down with injury mirrors what happened last season with Rip. Jordan may be setting himself up for injury if he has to carry too much of the load.

I was mentioning this very thing to someone earlier, its very eerie how this is happening. I just hope Mj sees the light and lessens his load as well as minutes. A good sign was against the Magic when he rested the team trusted the young bigs and they came through maybe be a good sign that MJ doesn't have to kill himself just to keep the Wizards competitve.
