Analysis: Priority is to resign Hughes, which will likely take a fairly large contract, as he is expected to receive lots of interest from other teams. After Hughes, Kwame becomes the focus. His playoff problems likely secure his going elsewhere, though the team hopes for a sign and trade. Possibilities include Portland (we like Rahim) and New York (they're offering Sweetney). Kwame can screw us over by just signing with a team with cap room such as Atlanta though. If something like that happens, we may look at players like Swift and Marshall.

Analysis: Hot rumor says Knicks have targeted Kwame, offering Sweetney in a sign and trade. Worries about the deal include Kwame being able to handle the pressure in New York, and possible problems fitting in with another perimeter-oriented offense. However, New York may very well offer more money than anyone else, so he'll have to decide between going for cash or a likely better place for his career.
