Well its becoming obvious that this season is pretty much over and the Wiz aren't going to make the playoffs. I thought they had a good chance before the season started with the additions of Stackhouse, Russell, and Oakley but this has turned into a big disappointment so far The only thing I've enjoyed this season is watching the flashes of greatness MJ has shown.
Maybe the Wiz will be better next year. Should they keep Stackhouse? I think so, but a few changes are in order. They should get rid of Oakley, L8ner, Russell, and Lue (he's a joke send him back to L.A. he'll fit right in there)
Orlando just put this seasons playoffs hope squarely on the shoulders of a rookie that Jerry West gave up on. I don't think they improved for this season that is for sure. Unless Grant makes a spectacular comeback after surgery number 4, I wouldn't count the Wizards out just yet.
I wrote at the beginning of the year that they would have started getting that chemistry by now. The injury to Stackhouse has hurt that but I think they can cling to some hope of staying in striking distance of taking the 8th spot in the East.
Well I hope your right about staying within striking distance for the playoffs. But its just frustrating from a fans point of view because this team is much better than they are playing, granted the young guys are inconsistent.
