Wiz Player News

Etan to the IL with fractured eye socket. He may miss the rest of the season.

White activated to take his place.

Russel sat out the Indiana game with migraines, and I didn't even notice. Go figure.

What does this mean?

Well I like Jahidi's size in the paint. I think we have missed what he can bring to the game with softening things up. I think he will contribute a great deal if he is ready to go. I doubt he is ready to go.

Kwame is going to have to continue to try and step it up with Etan out.

Jordan has a swollen knee as well. He says that the swelling occured above the knee and he may not play versus Houston.

This should be watched carefully. The Wizards season could be over.

I agree if MJ knee is serious or just serious enough to hamper him with Stack nicked its over lets talk Lebron and Millic.

I agree we've missed White's presence and clumsiness in the paint some players were always careful of Jahidi in the paint. If he's in okay shape he could really fortify our interior.

I like the idea of Kwame and Jahidi coming off the bench together. it would give Kwame a really big guy to play with inside. I thought Kwame was on his way to having a good game when he got pulled tonight. He really needs more time because I think he can bring more production with Laet playing too many empty minutes of inactivity.

Really unfortunate for Etan it seems like he can't get healthy since he's been in the league. It says if the swelling goes down he could be back in 2 weeks which would be good for us.

I wouldn't say this injury was Thomas' fault... he got his orbital broken by an elbow to the face. That's just bad luck

MJ seems pretty certain its not a big deal... it wasn't actually his knee that took the hit so I'm assuming a couple days of rest will have him ready for Houston.

The Post's comments on White were interesting. Apparently he's been practicing for "months". If that's the case and they didn't activate him sooner I have to think we aren't going to get much out of him
