On the rotation:

"I went with the guys I trust" - Doug Collins

(From the Post)

Collins really needs to show Kwame some love.

One the radio they said it was possible we'd sign a guy to a 10 day contract. My choice would be Randy Livingston, a guy I've always been a fan of.

It had reached its apex but Im not too sure the ball was over the rim. It looked as though it was going to fall short.

Frankly, Im not sure. The shot was from about 10 feet away, and I dont see MJ airballing a 10 foot scoop shot.
It would have definitely hit the rim, The camera angle on the replay was awful but the ball was definitely above the rim, though it may have been doubtful if it was going to go in.

Personally, I thought it would have looked much llike the basket MJ made against Richard Jefferson at the end of the NJ game, swish.

i definately didn't think that was a goaltend. i thought it was a good game(especially when the rockets got back in it) but the refs ruined it. they gave jordan 8 of his 10 points in ot. in regulation there were bad calls but they pretty much cancelled out. in ot jordan travelled going for a lay up, no call. then he threw hawkins to the ground(definately not a flop), no call. then the goaltending(i don't think it was and the annoucers agreed). then again jordan iniated contact and hawkins went to the ground, no call. the second one might have been a flop but even if it is, they gave jordan 6 points. i'm not saying he couldn't have scored without the refs, but i wish i could have found out.

strong words.

I don't think the refs gave Jordan a thing, but I can see how you might see that from the losing end.

i don't think that's it. at least admit the 1st offensive foul. it was the most obvious. they even showed a replay of it. jordan didn't have the ball and is next to hawkins who is guarding him. i'm pretty sure jordan grabbed him and then there was the forearm to the chest that threw hawkins to the ground. i really don't see how that could have been a flop. then jordan got the ball and made an easy two. maybe i am just seeing this because i'm a rockets fan. but it could also be you not seeing it because you are a wizards fan.

geez youve been whining about this since last night.

If you ever get a chance, tell Rudy T to coach his players on how to properly guard a player, instead of flopping around like Vlade Divac on crack.

how can you call that first one a flop? it wasn't even close. that was jordan using his forearm to put hawkins on the ground.

i don't think i've really been whining about it. i've made a couple of posts saying i think they gave jordan 8 points in ot. i said that the rockets might not have one had the refs called it better, but i wish i would have found out. the wizards could have put the game away at the beginning of the 2nd half, but they didn't, and the refs still couldn't assure a win after giving jordan some points(at least 4) in the ot. i just think it was bad officiating.
