Not sure the validity of this but there is a story indicating that Ewing has had preliminary talks about becoming an assistant with the Wizards or Knicks.

It says how he helped Stephen Hunter last season. IMO Hunter sucks. So I am not quite sure how much education was actually received but As an assistant, I would take him. I think he has knowledge to offer.

This would be great for the Wizards. He could tutor Haywood and Brown, but he wouldn't take up their minutes either.

I'm not too sure about his coaching credentials either and am not so sure his basketball IQ is really that high. But I will say that he definitely has the respect of the players and could be useful in attracting free agents.

I am fairly certain that Ewing is fairly basketball knowledgeable.

The fact he has talked to the Wizards is 100 percent due to the fact that Falk is his agent.
