the 4 guys who cursed out Collins this year...

according to George Michael...

Kwame Brown, Jerry Stackhouse, Christian Laetner, and Larry Hughes.

Thats what he said right before the news telecast ended the other night.

For anyone who doesn't know who GM is, he is one of the most respected/accurate sports reporters in DC, and possibly in the US.
I'm sure he has his team sources, so there is definitely legitimacy to this claim.

Stack has never wanted to be second fiddle to anyone,he is what he is....a slasher who is an inconsistent shooter but automatic when he is in a rhythm. He's been branded as selfish over the years, weather he's deserved it or not. He is still trying to live up to his "next MJ" label he received when he went to UNC. He is also trying to be "the man" like Iverson is in Philly but he isn't as skilled or as quick. He tries too hard sometimes.

Laetner is a solid player who is very unselfish on the court...but as I recall he has been trouble everywhere he has been since leaving Duke.

Hughes had 1/2 a good year since he came into the league, since then he has been an inconsistent bum. He used to shoot every time he touched the ball and went from a possible rival to Kobe a couple a years ago to a career role player who never lived up to his potential. He shot the ball better than he ever has in his career thanks to the attention that Stack and Jordan get. He should be thankful that he was even given a chance to start in the league again after the way he stunk up the arena in Oakland.

Kwame is the only one who has a reason to be angry. He was drafted as a project, everyone knew that. But Collins and Jordan have this bright idea of playing him 30 min/game in his rookie year, essentially throwing him to a pack of hungry wolves with nothing to defend himself with. He was benched, confidence lost. Then when they did play him he got taken out right away for making a simple mistake that if a vet did it wouldn't have even been called. Collins bullied this kid around for 2 years and I'm glad he stood up for himself. Unfortunately,he'll be traded to some crap team, torch the Wiz everytime he plays them, and in 3-5 years be leading the best team in the league deep into the playoffs.

He forgot to mention another me, I've been cursing him all season long.

Tom Knott wrote a good article in the paper regarding the Wizards future. and alot of it centers around Collins being removed as coach. he theorizes Collins spoke up to piss off MJ thus ensuring his firing. It may work but here's the catch. MJ and Abe may have problems with MJ's firing of coaches and the Wizards are still paying at least 4 off right now, so paying Collins to sit at home maybe a sore spot for Abe. Collins makes 4 million per year and that isn't something Abe is likely going to want to swallow easily. So MJ maybe forced out because he's costing Abe too much money in paying ex coaches.

Hughes is a gonner he quit on the team this year with this bogus ankle injury. His ankle flared back up around the same time he was benched a second time in favor of Lue. Its clear also that Collins was taking a shot at Hughes by saying that he should have started Lue from the beginning.

MJ IF he remains in charge isn't gonna forget the crap Hughes pulled and is sure to shop Stackhouse because of his attitude and convenient sore knee at seasons end. Stack may be harder to move because other teams may not be interested.

If Doug Stay as the head coach, players are definitely gonna be traded. Stackhouse should've been more of a leader and shown a better example than cursing out the coach. I would trade Stack and either Laettner or Jahidi for Nick Van Exel. This could be sweet...

PG - Nick
SG - Dixon
SF - Jared Jeffries
PF - Kwame
C - Haywood

Kwame has come out and said he has talked to Doug at the end of the season and that he could play for him next year
