Wes Unseld stepping down as GM after the draft according to the press release. Seems to clear the way for an MJ return. MAYBE

I heard the same thing. Sounds like there is more to come.
Apparently there is nothing Abe can do to change his mind.

Here are my first thoughts on this event.
I think this bodes ill for MJs return to the Wizards as President of Basketball Operations. Pollin had a guy on the inside in Wes which probably gave him a level of comfort with MJ there. However, now that Wes is gone, will Wes be more likely to own a team run by a guy picked by his successor, and in effect paid by his successor, with the ownership stake coming from Lincoln Holdings? I think Abe would be mroe inclined to bring in someone he is familiar with, and that would be his guy.
I have no idea who it would be, but Krause worked for Pollin before, would he do it again?

Good point and way to look at it. I tend to favor the notion that MJ comes in and is the replacement here. I think with Wes gone Pollin maybe more inclined to give MJ the control he wants and maybe steps back. We'll see. You could be right , Wouldn't that be something. I don't want Krause here but who knows interesting to see how it all plays out.

Finally! That guy gave FAT contracts to guys who were not worth the money- like Juwan, etc.). He also got rid of anybody who might have been an awesome rebounder(CWebb). The list is endless, he was also the worst coach in NBA history

202-345 doesnot make him "the worst coach in history".
A lot of coaches do not have a .369 record.
