Blatche And Pecherov
I know you guys have to be excited about the potential this two have. They could very well be very valuable players in the near future. I have been following their summer league progress and so far it seems the two are playing very nicely. Whats surprising is that it seems Pecherov might be the better defender and from what have seen and read about his offense, could possibly be better than Andray who is no slouch either.
Anyways my main question would be, considering the two are both known as perimeter players. Will they get to play together, or because of the similarities in their games would have to alternate?

Re: Blatche And Pecherov
I'll be happy to have them turn out... it's not like they're sure things or anything.

Re: Blatche And Pecherov
I could see them playing with each other against large defenders like Shaq, Yao, and Ben Wallace. This would cause them to draw out to the perimeter which then leads to easy buckets inside (or at least easier). Although I do think one should come off the bench, perferably Pecherov because he has the least experience right now. Blatche has really improved lately and I'm looking forward to seeing him in the line-up more.

Re: Blatche And Pecherov
I would think they would be on the floor a different times.
I would like to see a inside outside lineup with at least one of them, that way the big guy down low would always have room to work. Much like the Sabonis/Wallace tandem the Blazers use to have or the LaFrentz/McDyess duo before both where traded from the Nuggets.

Re: Blatche And Pecherov
This is really funny.
I came here to post this very same thing and HB beat me to it.
These are the kind of players that make an average team suddenly very good.
If I were a Wizards fan, I would be very excited about both of these guys after watching them play and seeing the kind of potential they have.
To answer the question, I think they could play together.
Pecherov seems to be the more effective player around the basket right now and is ahead of Blatche in his development. His defense doesn't look too bad to me. He might be able to hold his own against some decent PFs.
Blatche looks like the better shooter to me, his stroke is so quick and he is big enough to get it off against just about anyone. I don't know who he can guard, but there is usually an "offensively challenged" big he can stick with for now.
