So far, not so good
The Wiz summer league team is not looking good at all. Losing to the Raps and and Pistons and scoring a combined 152 points in the two games. They have another game tomorrow against the Blazers.
Andray Blatche has looked alright, I guess. He's not hitting his free throws, he's shooting a bad percentage from the field, and he's hit one three. His numbers are good overall though.

Re: So far, not so good
The wins and losses don't really matter in summer league, all you should be looking for is if your young players (in this case pecherov and Blatch) are performing well.

Re: So far, not so good
Obviously you can't tell a lot, but I sort of like the statlines Pecherov is generating. Most of the time bigs are foul and turnover machines in the summer league, but he's not. Maybe he's just not playing any defense, but i'll try to be optimistic and point out he's been haulling in a lot of rebounds.
He didn't shoot it well today, but the last question anyone should have about him is his shot. That'll come.
I wouldn't draw any firm conclusions from three summer league games, but that being said, I'd rather a guy be playing well instead of sucking it up. And Olek looks like he's playing pretty well.

Re: So far, not so good
I'm wondering where our 2nd round pick is? Is he staying in Europe to train?
And although the record doesn't show it, I think the summer league team is looking good. I'm seeing improvement from Blatche and Ramos while Pecherov is easing my mind (thought he was a bad pick).
