I predict fisticuffs.

OK, I actually think MJ will come out with all the control he asks for.

If Jordan and Pollin cannot come to terms, Pollin's Washington Sports and Entertainment and Lincoln Holdings -- the Ted Leonsis-led group that owns 44 percent of WS&E and the Washington Capitals -- would have to pay Jordan at least $10 million.
Quote:
Jordan has said he plans to ask for nothing more than his old job back. Pollin, 79, wants a playoff contender. Sources said Pollin was not happy that the Wizards have failed to make the playoffs since Jordan joined the franchise -- especially this season in a weak Eastern Conference -- and was displeased with the frictions that seemed to develop between the other players and Jordan and Coach Doug Collins. If Collins were fired, the Wizards would have to pay him the remaining $10 million on his contract.

I don't have such a good feeling. If anything, I think Pollin is more willing than most to suck it up and have his way, especially if he feels cornered. He would pay $20 million if he felt he was doing it his way.

I think Pollin wants MJ to want the job badly and make him some promises about working hard to improve the team. If Pollin tries to humble MJ to much MJ will walk angrily and that will be it. Mj's too proud to have his character challenged about work ethic things. MJ is not Wes, Abe's do whatever man. Mj will use his vision and incorporate Pollin's wishes but he won't be dictated to and made to feel like he's to answer to Abe to strongly. MJ just wants the old job back and all Pollin may want is MJ to explain all the angst with the players , himself and the coach. Pollin may insist that Collins gets Deep Sixed and this could be a sticking point depending on how married MJ is to Collins.

I think MJ will be back in control thats what my gut tells me.

had an interesting quote from Kwame...

Quote:
"Everyone has their disagreements," [Kwame] Brown said recently. "Everyone has them at one point in time. But to say, 'I don't like you' because of that is silly. I have much respect for Michael, for what he's done on the court and off the court more importantly. If people don't know that, that's their thing. I think Michael knows."
Looks like any story of Brown's dislike of MJ was over sold.

I think what it says is that Kwame can mix it up without holding a grudge. That is a good thing.
