Am I worrying too much about the Wizards handing over our two best players for the summer? I mean is it right to suspect that it will fatigue them a little more than any onther summer? Gilbert plays an amazing amount of minutes as is, and I wonder if he couldnt have used some time to recover. However, we do seem to have one of the deepest teams in Washington that we have had in a while. Just wanted to know if anyone else is thinking the same thing.

It's entirely possible both Arenas and Jamison could burnout late in the season, and it doesn't help that Washington also is an expected playoff team. I'm sure coach Jordan and his staff will push for the team to play well to start the season and push them even harder after the all-star break to create somewhat of a cushion and rest both Arenas and Jamison late in the season after the team received a playoff spot.

I've thought about it and this is how I justify them playing:

- It's the Olympics and they are playing for their country.

- It's their job to play basketball, so they are doing it.

- Maybe Arenas and Jamison come out with some new ideas of teamwork or whatnot.
