This could be a deal down the line when the Wizards get Songaila back and healthy and can give minutes to Jamison at the small forward position. I still feel the Wizards need better outside shooters rather than playmakers like Miller. Daniels is also the best defender in the backcourt and it's hard to say if Miller can make a similar impact on the defensive end.

Defensively, that backcourt is really small, I would not be surprised if Miller comes off the bench much like Daniels does. It's a trade that could happen, but the Wizards will probably not go through with this trade. Hayes is a fringe player but trading him in addition to Daniels would make the Wizards bench substantially weaker. Since the Wizards are already proficient in scoring, it is reasonable to assume that the Wizards may even value Daniels more since he is a better defender.

well i'm not one to speak for your team, i'm not a fan. but i do feel like something has to be done if you are going to get serious about competing for anything in the east. however this trade is one that would have to be done in conjunction with another trade for denver....... and that may be the case for the wiz, ,may be theyd have to make another deal to complete their roster. or maybe stevenson starts while dre comes off the bench until a deal comes along they like.

but looking at it from a denver standpoint. this only happens if denver can move boykins and joe smith to seattle (both expiring deals) for disgruntled PG Watson.... and underutilized PF Nick Collison.

also from a denver standpoint. dre would only be available because he doesnt fit in with the offense, nugget posters and fans certainly recognize him as a player of very high trade value.

One this is for sure, if Miller came in here and started he would be right up there with Nash in leading the league in assists. Arenas, Jamison, and Butler are three guys that any pure point guard would love to play next to. I could play in the NBA with those three. But if we started Miller then Stevensen wouldn't be starting and guarding the other teams best wing player. Stevensen is our best defensive player and to have him come off the bench wouldn't make any sense.

you really think wiz management turns a trade like that down? I wouldnt bet on it, however, denver trading for jarvis hayes... that might make a little too much sense for the nuggets.... they dont like to do things like that...
