Re: POR/WAS/ATL Trade?

I think it's a great trade for the Wizards. Hayes isn't doing much and Magloire upgrades the Wizards' post offense. The Wizards would do some serious damage in the playoffs with that lineup.

Re: POR/WAS/ATL Trade?

I'm not in favor at all. Hurts our depth and I like Haywood over Magloire anyways. I'm not at all opposed to moving Haywood and Hayes, but we need to get more.

Re: POR/WAS/ATL Trade?

It does thin out or bench even more, but Maggs is an improvement over Haywood that I would be willing to take.

I think the Wiz should try to get some kind of swing man from this trade. I don't think they have the best depth, and they'll need that for the playoffs

A guy like Ariza or Patterson would do this team some good. Pure energy off the bench.

There better not be any.

Even if you take Hayes out and leave it to a one on one deal for Haywood, I still wouldn't do it. Haywood has been so efficient and strong for us lately, and he fits the offense a lot better than Magloire who isn't that mobile. From there, you want to add Hayes into the equation? I know Hayes hasn't been consistent the entire season, but trading him away would make our bench that much thinner.

The only positive that comes out of this is how the Wizards would have some money to work with in the off-season, which doesn't attract me because we are tied for first in the eastern conference.

Re: POR/WAS/ATL Trade?

The Wizards are 14-4 since Haywood has been starting, no way.
