Re: 1/10 :: Wizards

Wizard's lead by 9 after first after being down 11-4 with 5:41 left in the first.

That last call on Arenas launching the shot after getting fouled and getting 3 shots was hilarious.

Re: 1/10 :: Wizards

LoL at that foul by Hinrich, even more funny is the ref awarded Arenas 3 ft's for just flaring his arms up, and of coarse Skiles gets a tech.

Re: 1/10 :: Wizards

It never ceases to amaze me how Jamison can be so good on offense and so bad on defense.

For example: Hinrich has the ball, played nicely by Stevenson, who then passes it to Gordon, guarded by Daniels, with 6 on the shot clock who passes it to Nocioni, guarded by Jamison, who drives right to the basket past Antawn and score easily. Solid defense until the ball gets thrown to whoever Jamison is playing and they score 95% of the time.

And I love the commercial where Arenas is practicing throwing his jersey into the crowd at dummies.

Re: 1/10 :: Wizards

Good win by the Wiz. Never lost the lead I think since they took it mid-first quarter.

Arenas shot horrid, but got to the line early and helped build up a decent lead in the first half. He didn't take one attempt in the third quarter, but made some clutch shots and free throws in the fourth.

Butler also struggled, but was there in the game getting rebounds and assists; helping the team anyway he could. That's why he's special and important to this team. When his shot is off (usually against good defensive teams) he contributes in other ways. He got to the line a lot all game, which kept the lead in our favor.

Jamison hit some big three's all game. He also had some timely offensive rebounds, which he put right back in.

Daniels, Hayes, and Stevenson all contributed nicely in the second half. They all came out firing. Stevenson was hitting multiple jumpers and Daniels was driving to the hole consistently. Hayes hit 4-8 three's and kept Chicago at bay. All three played good defense on their man.

A question I have is where did Blatche go? He had a nice end to the second quarter with a thunderous dunk, 3 rebounds, and a assist in 6 minutes. Eddie Jordan always plays him early and then benches him for the rest of the game.

This game was important because it showed everyone that we can win even when Arenas isn't having a good game.
