Gilbert Arenas struggled from the field (5-16) and ended up with only 20 points and 5 assists. Antawn Jamison added 18 points and 9 rebounds while shooting 4-8 from 3P range. DeShawn Stevenson and Antonio Daniels added 13 and 15 points respectively.

Re: 11/12 :: Wizards @ Hornets

Speechless, not much to say when you lose to a team that averages 89 ppg and then scores 104 on you. Theres nothing good about this defense perimeter or inside. Watching guys like Pargo and Rasul beat you on the outside and D-Mason kill you on the inside is really depressing. Whats so special about a team that can beat top tier teams and lose to teams with way below .500 records and missing their top 3 players. This team still isn't ready to do anything. If you can't score atleast play defense.

BTW what the hell is Jarvis Hayes is doing in the game to whole 4th quarter.

Re: 11/12 :: Wizards @ Hornets

The Wiz had too many turnovers down the stretch and were giving Devin Brown and Rasual Butler uncontested layups every play. We need to take advantage of these teams that are plagued by injuries and get these easy wins. We did the same thing against Denver when they didn't have Melo or JR Smith and we almost let Miami beat us without Wade or Shaq. A huge win in San Antonio tomorrow would be huge.

Re: 11/12 :: Wizards @ Hornets

What would be so special about beating the Spurs when we can't even take advantage of a depleted Hornets team. Even if we beat the Spurs (wich is unlikely) what does it really mean. We get after the best teams and play lackidasical agains the lower team. I keep hearing he same BS about teams playing to the level of competition and thats total BS. Great teams seperates that nonsense between Mediocre teams i.e. Spurs/Dallas/Phoenix compared to east wannabe teams like Cleveland/Chicago/Washington, you play the the teams the same way wether they are good are not. Even Orlando is showing some sighs of becoming good because they win games that they should. I guess coaching has alot to do with this getting playeres prepped and motivaded for every game.

Re: 11/12 :: Wizards @ Hornets

You're right, the Wiz don't beat the teams they need to and with what should have been an easy win last night, we would have been tied for first in the southeast. Washington always seems to have trouble in New Orleans. If they beat the Spurs on the road tonight, they might turn around their horrible play on the road and start beating these teams they're supposed to. That's why I was thinking it was a big game.

Yeah Wizards always have trouble with New Orleans, I remember 2 years ago Wiz lost to them when they had Dan Dekau and Birdman starting and some other guys that arent even in the league anymore. Overall this was a very Ugly Boring game to watch and I stopped watching after halftime, just had that feeling Wiz would lose and they did.

Washington had that game won last year in New Orleans when Jamison hit a jumper with .5 secs left, but we left David West wide open for an easy shot.
