11/13 :: Wizards @ Spurs
20-15 :: 26-11
8:00PM on CSN
AT&T Center
The Wizards lost to the Hornets last night in New Orleans, 97 - 104. Gilbert Arenas struggled from the field shooting 5-19 and finishing with 23 points, 8 assists, and 4 steals. He had two crucial mistakes that led to the teams demise at the end of the game. DeShawn Stevenson ended up with 22 points while shooting efficiently from the field (9-12). Caron Butler scored 18 points, dished 4 assists, grabbed 9 rebounds, and got 3 steals. The Wizards are 6-12 on the road.
The Spurs are on a three-game winning streak and look to make it four. They are coming off a 92 - 83 win against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. Guard Tony Parker finished with 26 points and 7 assists while Tim Duncan put in 19 points and 13 rebounds. The Spurs are 13-6 in AT&T Center.

Re: 11/13 :: Wizards @ Spurs
Playing the Spurs on the road is never something that is fun to watch. I just hope Arenas gets out of his slump and attacks the Spurs feisty defense.
Oh, and the new game threads are only temporary (hopefully). The old game threads are not working for some reason all the sudden and I'm HTML illiterate. I'll try and fix it if something isn't wrong with the threads. Unless everyone likes these more with the summaries, then I'll keep it.

Arenas seems to be in another slump (post 25th birthday) so hopefully he breaks out soon, my question is when is Jarvis Hayes ever going to get out his slump?
I don't like our chances in this one.
BTW the threads are just fine.

Re: 11/13 :: Wizards @ Spurs
Going into this game, I didn't know what to expect out of this team after last night's game, but didn't have the highest of hopes going against the best defensive team in the NBA. We struggled a lot in the first quarter missing a lot of our layups and not getting back to our guys on defense. I liked how we get back in it in the second quarter and thought the Wizards got settled, but the third quarter has really hurt us.
I got mad when they didn't call a foul for Arenas and I don't blame EJ for getting ejected. We're down by 11 right now, so hopefully we can cut this lead and steal it here.

You are talking about the refs as the 3 extra guys right?

The Wizards are not going to win a lot of games when Arenas only gets 5 free throw attempts.

Thats why I didn't even bother to watch the game, the New Orleans game was enough for me and I knew they didn't have much of a chance against SA.
