1/20 :: Wizards vs. Celtics
23-16 :: 12-26
8:00PM on CSN
Verizon Center
The Wizards set themselves atop of the Southeast division with their impressive win over the Orlando Magic last night, 114 - 93. Antawn Jamison led the team with 31 points and 16 rebounds. Arenas wasn't too far off with 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.
The Celtics lost their sixth straight to the Sacramento Kings, 91 - 96. Delonte West led the team with 25 points and 6 assists. Al Jefferson extended his superb play the past three games with a 23 point and 11 rebound game.
The Wizards look to win their tenth straight at the Verizon Center. They have beat the Celtics four out of the last five times, including the past two.

Re: 1/20 :: Wizards vs. Celtics
Didn't see the in-depth game threads Will usually put up, so I put this one up real quick before I went out.
I expect nothing else but a win. A loss will just solidify our team's characteristics as inconsistent and always losing to teams we should be beating. There's no wing on their team that can guard Arenas, so he should get his usual 30+.

Re: 1/20 :: Wizards vs. Celtics
Sorry about that, I had a long day, and kinda hard to make one for the second game of the back to back set. Thanks for making it.
The first home game of the season, we observed Wally Szczerbiak shooting lights out like other shooters we have encountered this season. We must take him out of the equation and make sure our offense runs smoothly. We should look to get easy points off steals and seperate ourselves from them.

A back-to-back is always tough, but we should be able to handle the Celts at home. I can't wait to hear Buck bust a nut about how we are leading the Eastern Conference!

LOL, Buckantz is the man. This game worries me though just like the New Orleans game did.

Well I guess a win is a win is all I have to say about this one. We really need to get better at handling the double teams on both Arenas and Butler.
