Keys to the Game- We're Going downtown. – The Suns made the Wizards look like fools the same second Arenas scores, mostly because they get the ball up court for a wide open 3. The Wizards remain the worst 3 point shooting team in the NBA, and the Suns exploited that weakness easily.
- Good Ball Movement – The Pistons need to be able to have good shots every possession and playing carefully and looking for the open man, will do so.
- Second Chance Points – With the frontcourt the Pistons have, they need to take advantage of getting a point or two every time they're down the court and that means crashing the boards.
- Defense
, 'nuff said.

This is gonna be a tough one, but with our great offense, I think we can pull it out. I know we give up a lot of points, but the Pistons are one of the lowest scoring teams in the NBA and have a very slow game. If we keep the tempo up and work our offense, I think we can get a big win tonight.

That was a great win for the Wiz. Even though Caron didn't have a huge game, we still stayed tight and pulled out a tough win in the end. Antawn had a nice game and Brendan also played well. Hopefully we can pull out more of these tough road wins in the future.

Huge win. I can forget about that Phoenix game now and be satisfied that we are back on top of the East. Great job by Jamison tonight! He never gets much love on here.

Re: 1/26/07: Wizards @ Pistons
Yeah, this was just what the doctors ordered after a tough loss to the Suns at home.
We always match up well with the Pistons because Jamison doesn't have to guard a PF (Rasheed) who posts more than he spots up. We looked like we did in the Suns game in the first quarter, but we started to heat up from there. The third quarter was huge. Pistons couldn't make a free throw to save their lives and gave us the chance to extend our lead. Jamison was huge all game. We needed that too. Arenas wasn't shooting too great and Caron looked like a bum. In the fourth quarter the Big 3 came up big. That one spurt in which both teams made like 4-5 shots in a row each was insane. Billups was draining threes left and right after being cold all game, and AJ and Hibachi kept us rolling through the Piston's spurt.
I think I'm ready to say we are contenders in the East. The West is a whole other story. :/

Re: 1/26/07: Wizards @ Pistons
Nice win for the Wizards. They actually played some defense to re-claim the top spot in the east. Arenas didn't shoot the ball well tonight but he still had 10 assists and 0 turnovers. Daniels had 4 of the 7 Wizards turnovers, although he did a decent job of containing Hamilton. Hopefully, they won't look past Boston and get another win on the road.
