One on One

The game is almost over and still no game thread. Well we are up 21 with 3 minutes to go so this one is in the bag. Unfortunately it was not televised where I am....did anyone see this one? I see AJ had another big game with 34 right now, Arenas had a subpar shooting night, and CB was predictably consistent with a double-double. Haywood looks to have played well too. And Ryan Gomes only has 20-8 this time against us so I guess that's an unbelievable defensive job considering how he torched us last time! In fact neither Al Jefferson or Wally went off either...it always seems like the Celts come up with a random 1-man wrecking crew against us and fortunately it didn't happen this time. IMO, we are now a good road team at 9-13 (9-5 since the 0-8 start).

Anyone actually see this game?

Good win for the Wizards. The refs didn't call many fouls in this one for either side. In fact, Washington had no free throw attempts in the 2nd quarter. Arenas even drove and converted a basket and got called for an offensive foul for kicking his leg up in the air, which was compeletely bogus. Anyways, when the big 3 combine for 70+ points per game, good things happen. Roger Mason also played a significant role after Stevenson went out with an injury. Although he didn't score, Mason played solid defense, got to loose ball, and made a few key plays for some easy buckets.

I didn't get to see this one either, I'm not sure why college basketball was on comcast but the Wiz finally won one an easy game that they were supposed to win and did it convincingly. Antawn's making a strong case for the All-Star team these days also.

Sorry, was at my birthday dinner.

This win was definitely expected. Celtics are injured and the Wiz's confidence is high as a kite. Jamison is playing lights out. While Arenas and Butler aren't doing that great the past few game, they are contributing in other ways.

I'm looking at the schedule and something tells me we will beat Detroit tomorrow, but then lose to Toronto LOL. Toronto always seems to play us at the perfect time, we have to travel there after a tough Detroit game where Detroit is seeking revenge.
