How do you guys feel about the Jamison injury?

Do you think this is a slight setback in the season, or will it have some drastic effects on how they play over the next 2-8 weeks?

Re: How do you guys feel about the Jamison injury?

Our offense will obviously not be as hot with him, but Antawn is not a great defensive player. He gets a lot of boards, but I think Booth can step up and get some boards and blocks. I'm hoping the Wiz can stay on track, but if Antawn is out for 8 weeks, we're gonna start to experience some trouble. Caron and Gil will have more pressure on them, and other guys will need to step up. I'm thinking if Antonio and DeShawn can start to fill in and contribute, that it will only be a slight setback.

I think it's going to be trouble. We just don't have a bench and this makes us even thinner. I cringe when I see Booth out there. Hopefully it is on the shorter end of the timeline.

Jamison is the only quality big man on the Wizards roster,So Arenas and Butler have to step up,especially Butler

One positive is that the Wizards can find out what they have in Blatche and Songailia. I hope Jamison comes back soon though, hopefully EJ will give Jamison less minutes per game so that the Wizards can save him for the postseason.

Re: How do you guys feel about the Jamison injury?

With Jamison injured, it's sort of a blessing in disguise. With him out, it let's out young/new players get a lot more playing time. Blatche has been putting in solid numbers with plenty of minutes and Songolia can only improve (hopefully) as he gets back into the flow of things. This will help increase out depth come time when it counts the most: the playoffs.
