Re: Monday 2/5 Sonics vs. Wizards

We looked pathetic the first two quarters and half the 3rd quarter. Then Booth was placed in the lineup and everything seemed to click. Everything improved: defense, fast breaks, ball movement, free throw shooting. Blatche came in and contributed nicely with a career high of 14. He could of had more, but kept missing easy tip-in's.

Butler had a career high of 38, congrats to him!

Blatche was awesome tonight. Glad to get a win without AJ.

EJ needs to start Booth or Blatche now instead of Jarvis Hayes at PF. Give him backup minutes for Butler, give Daniels backup minutes to Arenas and Stevenson and, leave Mason Jr and Taylor on the bench.

I 100% agree. I'd be happy with either Booth or Blatche starting. Both know their roles on the team, which are to hustle, rebound, and make plays when they need to. Both of them can defend decently too. Blatche has crazy long arms and they seem to be everywhere when he's on defense or going for a rebound. Hayes just isn't having a prodictive season. He makes the occasional open shot, but misses a lot more shots than he makes. EJ seems intent with playing Hayes until he comes out of his slump, which is hurting the team as long as he starts and plays a decent size of minutes.
