Hey guys,

I follow the Wiz a little more than most other teams in the league; a) because they're in the east and b) because my buddy loves the team more than anything else (besides the 'Skins, he's from Mer-il-land).

Now I have another reasont to follow the club. Caron Butler. Ok so I'm a Huskies fan and have known of CB for a while and of course this season has perked my interest (actually as soon as the $50 mill was signed I knew something big was about to happen) but the recent story about him in SI has put him in a rare list of my favorite players.

Being from Toronto, other than the net I get no coverage of US HS players. All I knew was about the 15 by 15, and the scary stereotypes that conjures up (I try not to judge because I am not without sin but sometimes it just happens I guess). Hearing about how hard he has had to work to get to where he is has shown me a interesting and admirable side of Butler. Reading about how he challenges Arenas in the locker room and takes the "bad cop" role with pride really endured him to me. The story about when coach Good at MCI picked him up from the airport to drive him to his new home and went to McDonalds and fed his dog but not Caron is cruel but shows how intense their relationship is.

Anyways, this is just a random thread from a random fan wanting to proclaim his support and fanship of Caron Butler.

Go Wiz! Let's meet in the playoffs and have a hell of a series.

Well, for the Wiz fans, you are definitely welcome! This is coming from a big time Lakers fan. Man, why did we even keep Devean George anyway. Oh well, both are gone and that's a thing of the past.
