Would the Wizards due this trade?
There has been a rumour going about that the wizards are planning to trade Kwame Brown, Jahidi White and possibly (sign and trade) Tyronn Lue to Toronto for the fourth pick in the 2003 draft, Jerome Williams and Morris Peterson.
Would the Wizards due this trade?

I would be interested to see where that trade idea originated considering the Wizards really do not have a GM at the moment.
And no, I doubt the Wizards even consider that trade.

I just checked out the Sun and didn't see anything about trading the number 4, outside of speculation the Raptors wanted veteran help instead of taking a chance on drafting. Of course, Grunwald denied any trade rumors, saying he hoped the Raptors were getting something good.

Regardless, why would the Wizards do it?
Who is going to be selected at 4, that is going to have the potential Kwame still has? You could make an argument for the Top 3, but not for Bosh, who it appears the Raps might not even take.
On top of that, The salaries are not even close to matching, even if you remove Lue from the equation.

So, putting the huge salary differences aside, this trade is a decent point guard, an average big man, and a #1 pick
for an decent small forward, an average big man, and a #4 pick?
I don't know why Washington would want to get rid of our only true PG and add another SF and PF, where we are already overloaded.
I say, for the sake of the fans, we just trade everyone for Vince Carter, change the unis to Tar Heel blue and let Stack and Vince run wild, dunking over 7'2" Frenchmen and all. No, no, its late, that's silly. Vince gets injured too much anyway.
Personally, I like Kwame. Toronto isn't a team I'd like to trade with, they really don't have any pieces Washington needs, except for maybe Alvin Williams.

You gotta imagine Nelson is drooling at the thought, as Peja could help him inch closer to his dream of averaging 300ppg.

Should the Lakers sign Latrell Sprewell?

Actually, after the top three picks are gone, its a real crap shoot. Everyone has seen the articles and how quickly players can market themselves, or make their stock drop. James Lang, Troy Bell and Jameer Nelson may have now played their way into the first round.
So, from #4-#13, you'll probably see any combination of Bosh, Ford, Sweetney, Kaman, Hayes, Wade, Hinrich, Collison, Ridnour, Podkolzine, Pietrus, Lampe and maybe Barbosa or Badiane could sneak in there. To me, none of these guys really stands out as head & shoulders above the rest, so I do not think Washington should try to trade up, unless it's for one of the top three picks (which is 99.9% impossible).

This trade is reasonable I think now considering how much poldkolzines stock went up, this guys a monster! i always thought he was going to be good. I would do it if I were the wizards, Im sick of Kwame, bring in the internationals!

Kwame Brown
Do you think in 2 years Kwame could be one of the best players in the NBA and why?
