Re: 3/11 :: Wizards @ Heat
These refs and Gary Payton are ridiculous. That was the biggest flop I've ever seen and a very cheap way to maybe win the game. That was total bs.

What a game, what a game.
Wizards get the game STOLEN away from them with that horrible call on Antawn Jamison. Then Williams misses 1/2 and Arenas goes for three and is fouled. Makes all three and then Udonis Haslem, let me repeat that ... UDONIS HASLEM makes the game winner with .3 seconds left.
THE CURSE IS BACK.

Things don't look too good right now. Wizards next 7 games, 6 are on the road, 5 aginst west teams they desperately need to get Caron going and Stevenson needs to play better. Antawn and Gil can't carry them every game.

Well he did have Jamison covering him so there wasn't much defense.

I agree that was a horrible call on Jamison but it was later redeemed by a foul call on Payton. Though loss for you guys lucky shot by Haslem.

100% true...Payton should win an academy award for the foul on Jamison, but Arenas didn't get fouled by GP, so you were more than "made-up" for it.

Re: 3/11 :: Wizards @ Heat
Yeah, I watched the replay, like, 11 times last night, and it is an absolute joke to call a foul on the play. Payton ran up to contest the attempt. He crowded Arenas a little bit, but there was no contact until he jumped forward for the shot and they RUBBED THIGHS! Payton even backed off on the play. People complain about Wade getting calls, but Jesus Christ.
I know I shouldn't be complaining after a win, but these refs need to get their heads straight.

It was definately a makeup call if there ever was one. I don't know if it made any difference whether it was Gilbert or Jamison shooting that 3.

Then again, Barron has made 30 so popular so you might be right

Re: 3/11 :: Wizards @ Heat
The Jamison call was sketchy too. Initially it looked totally bogus, but I watched it again and saw the he was still moving, but Payton kinda ran into him and maybe acted a little. Probably should've been a no call.

Jamison wasn't even setting a pick. He was just moving around the 3 point line for a look and Payton ran straight into him. I agree Arenas didn't get fouled, but I'd say they were equally bad calls.

Re: 3/11 :: Wizards @ Heat
They were both bad calls. The refs were definitely controlling the game too tightly. Seemed like they were indecisive about who they should give the game to.
Wizards need to work on closing out games. In their losses lately they've had a sizable lead in the 4th and have lost it because of lackadaisical defense (as usual) and stupid turnovers.
