On ABC, no less than 5 seconds ago, Jim Gray said Van Gundy could make a decision by tommorow between Houston or Washington. This is surprising news. Gray said we have offered him much more money, the GM position, and full control of personnel moves. I really like Van Gundy as a coach (save for his quitting on NY when things got rocky).

There must be something fishy about the Houston job, with that young core it seems enticing to any coach. But, given the coaches available, I'd love to see Van Gundy in DC.

I heard this too but I suspect that he is going to Houston. I hear he is shopping for homes down there.

I think think the only thing that could bring him here is that Abe seems to be offering partial ownership.

I still want the Eddies from NJ though.

Well we will know today. Van Gundy is going to pick between Houston and Wasington today.

word is van gundy is fine with houston, but his wife is not thrilled about living in texas. she wants to stay in a big cultured city in the east. so we will find out who where's the pants in that relationship.

Yeah, but I have a feeling Van Gundy's going to Houston. Yao Ming is a nice piece to work with.
