Keys To The Game - 3 Point Shooting – The Raptors are missing one of their 3 point shooters Garbajosa for the year, but they are still one of the top 10 teams in shooting the 3. The Wizards have had trouble defending the 3 all season long, and we've seen cases where games have been lost because of it. The Raptors need to make sure their offense doesn't get shut down and shoot all night against this team.
- Feed Bosh – The Raptors haven't had a time where he let them down, kind of like the night when these two teams met the second time this season. He shot 15-19 for 34 points and grabbed 8 rebounds leading them to victory over the Wizards. With the way Haywood has been struggling, it won't be a suprise of Eddie Jordan replaces him with Etan Thomas or Darius Songalia.
- Take Care Of The Ball – The Raptors are second in the league in the league in turning the ball over with the Wizards 4th in stealing the ball. The Raptors being away from home need to keep their composure and play their game not making any careless passes, leading to turnovers and easy points on the other end.
- Good Offensive Production – Everyone should have their mindset on making crisp passes, open shots, good screening and high level of concentration that can allow themselves to score 129 points against the Raptors in their last meeting.
- Interior Defense – Our backcourt needs to make sure they limit Ford and Dixon from penetration to the paint, and our frontcourt needs to make sure to keep Bosh away from the ball. We've always had a hard time keeping up with a fast-paced offense, so look for players scrambling around to the open man.
- Momentum - The game on Wednesday against the Sixers consisted of mainly runs made by both teams to keep themselves close to the last shot of the game. The Wizards need to make sure they don't let the Raptors get on runs. They can do so by cutting off passing lanes, creating turnovers and simply get points off turnovers.

Great game thread. But we give up the second fewest turnovers in the league...maybe that's what you meant.
Huge game for both teams, being as both thrive on their homecourts and likely would rather play each other than the heat or bulls.
We'll be in tough playing in Washington without garbo and bargnani.
good luck.

Re: 3/30: Raptors @ Wizards
WHAT THE HELL IS EJ DOING WITH RUFFIN STILL IN THE GAME!!!!!!!!????? He could have dumped it off to Gil or Caron for the free throws. The time would have actually have ran out I'm guessing and even if he was fouled and missed both shots, they would have had to hit a 3 from our basket with 1 second left. That was one of the dumbest plays I've ever seen. All he's been doing is giving up offensive rebounds and 3 point plays. I have no clue why Haywood isn't in in OT right now. Ruffin just cost us the chance to win back the 3 seed and might have cost us the SE division. That shot was ridiculous, but we deserved it after our crappy free throws and dumb plays. We definately need to beat these sub .500 teams in our remianing schedule. I've always liked Ruffin, but that was disappointing. What 4th grade girls softball team does Ruffin play on with a weak little toss like that.
by the way, sorry I just needed to get that out of me and vent a little.

Re: 3/30: Raptors @ Wizards
Good job EJ playing your boy Ruffin big minutes in crunch time thinking hes a contributer and can shut down Bosh, LOL. Hopefully more losses like this will get your AZZ fired. Also Arenas, Jamison, Butler and Stevenson conbined to miss all 12 of the 45 freethrows Wizards had tonight, but Ruffins last play was just classic, dumbazz. Arenas 9-29 pure chucking.
