It's time to re-build for next season. Gil will at least be rested for next year. Something has to be done about the bigs. We can't go another season with no solid inside presence. Haywood is worth something so I'd trade him. I'd like to see Blatche get a lot of minutes the rest of the way. We were always a flawed team so hopefully the injuries are a blessing in disguise.

I think we need to pre-emptive strike and rebuild for alot more than just next year. I think grunfeld needs to take a look at the roster and really consider some large changes.

Haywood is worth something, unfortunately its just not alot. After watching haywood, thomas, booth, ruffin, and the rest of the scrubs they have thrown out there shows me that this big man by a committee approach just doesnt work out. If we make a trade for a big man we need to throw everyone not named Gilbert at them and make sure we bring home a star. Trading Haywood for a package that brings us Dan Gadzuric and Brevin Knight (just throwing two names out there) isnt gonna do us any good.

I .. Can't .. Believe .. This .. Happened.
The thought of waiting another year is much too painful. Having to watch us barely make the playoffs and then get swept by whoever. Watching the draft and seeing the Wizards organization pick some incredibly bad players (ala last year). And then there is the most painful thing to watch: Gilbert attempting to come back after having surgery on his knee, which is known to end careers.
This has been a very sad week for Wizards fans.
