Trade Idea: Lewis and Wilcox for Butler and Blatche?
Seattle can throw in a filler as well. Maybe a backup SF in Damien Wilkins. This trades a 22+ PPG player in Lewis and a homegrown highflyer in Wilcox for a solid prospect in Blatche and borderline all-star in Butler. This would move Jamison to the 3, and would help Washington's uptempo offense. Butler would bring toughness and defense to Seattle.
Any thoughts?

Butler plays SF, and so will Durant.

How does this trade make any sense? 2 or 3 years ago jamison may have been able to play the 3 in a slower paced offense but no way could it happen here. If jamison is at the 3 where does lewis and wilcox play? is wilcox big enough to play center??
i dont know seattles roster too well but if they have any salary they are looking to unload i think trading jamison (and his expiring contract) in the same package is a much better deal

Lewis/Jamison/Wilcox. That's a possibility, but I didn't think this trade through before I posted it. I forgot a few things.

Yeah rethink the need for Washington to upgrade their offense as well.
Right now Tough Juice is about as important to the Wizards as Arenas is in my opinion.

The Wizards need to improve defensively. While Jamison, Wilcox, and Lewis would create problems offensively for other teams, they challenge to be one of the worst defensive front lines. Plus Caron is one of the Wizards' better defenders.

Being one of Washingtons better defenders isn't saying much, Carons an average defender at best. He gets his steals the way Arenas gets his by cheating on defense though Caron's better at keeping his man in front of him but its nothing spectacular. Anyways Jamison at sf would be a disaster.
