Re: Wizards summer league games on Comcast
Finally! Now I don't have to go to my friends house to watch the games on NBA TV.
I'm guessing they will also be live instead of pre-recorded. That is very good to hear considering the "live" part of sports is half the fun.
I also thought it was interesting that the Chinese National Team is going to be playing in the Summer League. That is very odd.

Re: Wizards summer league games on Comcast
Just great, NBA TV has blacked out the game and Comcast is showing the "poker crap" again. Game will be taped delayed on CSN, thank God for NBA.com live feed.

I saw it. Mcguire is a very intriguing prospect. He was all over the place. Young was so-so, they tried to get him going most of the game.
BTW you can watch this games live on NBA.com

Yes but why show it when the game has already been played. Anyone really that intrested in whats going on already know the results by then and will not even bother watching it on tape delay. The game was live fed from NBA.com at 4pm.

That McGuire kid looks impressive, shooting (finishing at the basket), defense, rebounding and all around hustle, it shouldnt be hard for him to get a spot on the team.

Nice game last night for the Wiz. Young, McGuire, and Pecherov looked pretty good. I also like what I saw from Miles.

Re: Wizards summer league games on Comcast
I think McGuire could potentially step into the rotation right away. He plays solid defense and makes good decisions when he's on the court. The only thing I didn't see from him was a consistent jumper.
I'm a little bit concerned that Nick Young is turnover prone but he has all the tools to contribute. If his jumpshot isn't falling, he can still drive and penetrate and get to the line. I think his defense was above average. When the regular season starts, he can step in and be the guy who can hit the open jumper (unlike Jarvis Hayes). He can also create his own shot if Arenas and Butler are not on the floor.

Re: Wizards summer league games on Comcast
Young and McGuire are both gonna be solid rotation guys. Young needs alittle more polish but he's gonna be a real good one. He has star potnetial if he can limit the wild play and start passing the ball more. He can really create off the dribble and has ridiculous hops I think the best on the team now.
Mcguire is tough, and has a nice all around game passes it well and can handle it which should fit well with the Wiazards fastbreak game, but he's a shot blocker and good defender which will help bigtime off the bench.
Wizards stole him in the 2nd rd.
Pech I think is already better than Songailla except for maybe the passing, he really has a nose for rebounding. He's still somewhat raw and clumsy but he can shoot it and he mixes in alittle bit of dribble drive that impressed me.
Maybe he necomes a rotation guy by mid season.

Re: Wizards summer league games on Comcast
Opec had nice point and rebound totals but failed to register a single assist, steal, or block the whole time in Vegas. Should be a rotation guy.
