Re: The Wizards resign Andray Blatche
Will he be the starting C this season?
Anyways I still hope that the "twin towers" went traded for Brad Miller.

Re: The Wizards resign Andray Blatche
PG: Gilbert Arenas...Antonio Daniels
SG: DeShawn Stevenson...Nick Young...(Donell Taylor)
SF: Caron Butler...Dominic McGuire...(Mike Hall)
PF: Antawn Jamison...Andray Blatche...Darius Songaila
C: Brendan Haywood...Etan Thomas...Oleksiy Pecherov
It's a pretty good team, but I don't see them as being much better than what they were last year before all the injuries struck.

Here's a link.
Great signing. Glad they decided to stick with him even after the charges.

Re: The Wizards resign Andray Blatche
As long as the other team doesn't bring hookers to the game, we should be all set
Seriously, good to have him back. I think he'll be a solid rotation guy this year, and maybe we get lucky and he brings more

I think Pecherov is the backup 3 - not sure though.

Re: The Wizards resign Andray Blatche
5 years for $15 Mill? That seems to be quite the steal these days!

It looks like the solicitation charges might of changed the contract numbers. Instead of 3 years at 11 million, he's now getting 5 years for 15 million.
Thank you, undercover prostitutes!

Re: The Wizards resign Andray Blatche
Still can't believe, even after the whore-bust, that Andray accepted 5 years at only 3m per. Fantastic value for the Wiz.

Re: The Wizards resign Andray Blatche
Blatche should have signed for only 3 years. he can out wait Jamison and become the stud at 4 for the Wiz.
That would mean him having the work ethic to be great and he clearly hasn't shown that.
Unfortunately I don't see alot of upsdie for Blatche unless he changes his mindset.
He has all the skills to be a stud but looking at his body and erratic game he's not putting in the work and usually when cats don't have the ethic they don't develop it.
