andray blatche...tell me about him...
i always thought he was a good prospect coming out of highschool, but why hasn't he gotten consistent playing time??? i remember a stretch last year when he put together a couple of double doubles when he started, and i know of his knee injury at the end of last season, but what's wrong with him right now??? i live on the west coast and have not had the chance to watch a lot of wiz games, and i'm sure many of you have...will he be a major contributor anytime in the near future??? thanks for your time...

Blatche still hasn't found a rhythm at this point in the season. In the preseason, he was very active on the boards, both offensively and defensively. He also has very good ball handling abilities for a player his size and has shown that he is a good passer.
So far this season, Blatche has been inconsistent especially on the offensive end. He tends to make shots more difficult than they actually are. When he was playing the Nets, he did an up and under move against a much smaller player and he ultimately missed it. He also lacks a consistent jumper, even from the mid range. Eddie Jordan has also misuses him; he used Blatche to guard small forwards like Pierce and Carmello and it backfired badly.
Blatche probably needs to work a lot more on his game since he is far from a polished. However, he has a lot of potential and could become more valuable as the season progresses.

Blatche has looked great over the past couple of games.
Against the Blazers: 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks
Against the 76ers: 26 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block
Against the Bobcats: 12 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 5 blocks (1st career double double)
