In the win the Wizards were led by Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler who combined to score 57 points with Jamison also corralling 14 rebounds. The Wizards also received a strong contribution from Roger Mason, Jr. who came off the bench to score a season-high 15 points while connecting on three 3-pointers.

The Cavaliers enter tonight's game after their fourth consecutive loss last night to the New Jersey Nets, 100-79. In yesterday's loss the Cavaliers were without their All-Star Lebron James, who sat out his third straight game with a sprained left finger. James enters tonight's game listed as Day-To-Day, but many national reports are speculating that he will not play.

Re: 12/5 :: Wizards vs. Cavaliers

I can't see why this won't be a win. It's a home game against a team with their best player by far and arguably their second best player out. If the Wizards are smart though, they won't take this game as a joke because we seem to play sloppy against the Cavs.

I'm also going to this game too, so we better win!

I wish these teams circumstances were this way around during the playoffs last season.

Re: 12/5 :: Wizards vs. Cavaliers

Good win for the Wizards. Even if Cleavland was shorthanded, they have to take the wins as they come. 5 Wizards finished in double figures (Butler, Jamison, Haywwod, Young, and Daniels) and they played solid defense. It was interesting to see Nick Young taking over in the 4th quarter. He may find himself in the starting lineup sometime next year with performances like these.
