In the victory, Deshawn Stevenson led all scorers with 26 points, while Antawn Jamison, Caron Butler, and Brendan Haywood all recorded a double-double.
The Kings enter tonight's game in the midst of a five game road swing. After losing their first game on the stretch the Kings bounced back to knock off the Sixers, 109-99, last night. The win improved the Kings record to 9-13 on the season.
Similar to the Wizards, the Kings have been bitten by the injury bug this season. Currently the Kings are without both members of their starting backcourt, as both Mike Bibby and Kevin Martin are out injured, along with front court veteran Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
While the Kings are shorthanded, they will receive no pity from a Wizards team that was dealt another blow yesterday with the announcement that Antonio Daniels has a MCL sprain in his right knee and will miss 2 to 4 weeks. Without Arenas and Daniels the Wizards will now be looking for even more production from a bench that has helped lead the Wizards to a 9-5 record without their All-Star point guard.
