Boston @ Washington, 1/12/08
Wizards win 85-78. Quality win. I don't mind this team being under the radar if they beat Boston. That being said, Boston probably looks to kill us back in Boston on Monday.

Biggest win of the season by far this year even bigger than the Dallas win. This game was physical and was all about defense, accually was great game to watch. Wizards caught a break when they didn't get a 24sec violation call with 24 secs left on Carons desperation 3, but they made many bad calls against us also. Boston is probably ready to tear the Wiz a new one come Monday, the Caron and Pierce match up could be fierce. Finally a win over a top notch team.

I only watched the 2nd half. Was it really that heated between Butler and Pierce?

This game was brutal, physical and alot of hard fouls. I thought Butler was a little overhyped in the beginning of the game he was having some unusual turnovers and missing some shots he normally makes (credit Celtics defense) but woke up when Pierce started jawing at the mouth and was getting real physical against him. In fact the whole Celtics team really tried to punk the Wizards in the second half getting real physical and i'm glad they didn't back down from the challenge. Great win, hope to see more in the next game.
