Snuck in from the Sixers forum, and Im watching the Wizards play against Denver tonight. Which brought the question to mind, who the hell decided on the ugliest uniforms in the history of the league?

I hated the sixers "cut off" sleeve style jerseys of the last few years, but at least they didnt look totally retarded. Those Gold cut-offs with black shorts are so friggin uggggggly.

Do Wiz fans in general hate them as well, or are they accepted well? Where did the whole gold and black thing come from ?

I cant imagine even mr Hibachi can sell many of those Jerseys even with his name on them...

No disrespect meant to Washington fans of course. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to these things, so I hate it when teams completely abandon their traditional colors and Uni's

I like them. I'm a Pacers fan, and we have the most boring jerseys in the league. I like their jerseys because they are unique.

ReallY? the pinstripe pacers jerseys are pretty sweet.

Plus, at least they are your "actual" colors...What would you say if they made some goofy red and green pacers jerseys?

I'm frustrated. Not only sitting through half the season without Gil, now Butler's out and Jamison's playing like crap, we still have to endure watching the team play wearing those Duracell battery looking uniforms. Seriously every time I see them I want to break something or Smack whomever thought of these uniforms. But the most ridiculous part is that they must be very popular (for whatever reason) because they have been sporting those things for the past 2 seasons but I have not heard (anyone I know) say anything good about them. They suck, the Wizards nickname sucks, injuries suck, I want my Bullets nickname back.

Observing watching on TV or looking around in My area it seems like the younger kids love them because thats what most of the little kids wear (the dreadful copper and black) Wizards uniforms whether its Gil, Caron, Jamison or anyone else. Seems that the older teens and adults stick with the regular home and away jerseys. Me personally loved the orange and black (60's) Baltimore Bullets jerseys the Wizards sported in 04-05 season, my favorate uniform ever.

Nah they look better to me. I don't like the regular colors they use on the other jerseys. I'm not saying I would go outside wearing the uniform but as for seeing a team play in them, they're pretty cool to me.

Wizards could use a different logo, or maybe difference color schemes. Look at the top of this board, the logo looks so amateurish, it looks like a two yr old drew it or something. They could come up with a lot better.

I like the jerseys. It seems like the league and fans are wishy-washy about them, but I think they are unique.

There used to be a site that had prototype Wizards jerseys and logos from a little while ago (probably around 2004-05). Some of them were very nice looking. They made the Wizard on the jersey look more futuristic and less childish. The main colors were also switched to black and blue, which was pretty cool.

If they removed the stars that runs across the top of the jerseys and ran them down the sides, changed the shorts to match the tops they would look alot better.
