Washington Wizards @ Golden State Warriors 02/12/08

The Wizards are hanging tough with the Golden State Warriors, with Roger Mason Jr. leading the way with 28 points. The score right now is 107-101 with 5:40 left to go in the 4th quarter.

Re: Washington Wizards @ Golden State Warriors 02/12/08

I'm embarrassed.

I want to use the depleted roster excuse, but they were up by 24 at one point. Their defense was bad in the first half and horrid in the second.

WHY?!

Re: Washington Wizards @ Golden State Warriors 02/12/08

Nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed. They did their best for the circumstances. I thought they certainly would get blown off the court but they didn't they had a chance to win this and the Phoenix game just came up short. Its frustrating see them come up short but it wasn't for the lack of effort. Mason was hot, Jamison was Jamison, Haywood had a great game, Stevenson had a great effort game (less shooting) playing on one leg. Young and DMac gave the effort but played like rookies, I thought Young played selfish at times on offense. Blatche didn't have a good game due to foul trouble and Songaila was Songaila (not very good). Definitely not a bad game there were just not enough horses no Moral victories though, its the games like Milwaukee and Philly with Butler and Daniels playing that are the bad ones.

Edit: I like the warriors but I don't care much for Steven Jackson, not because of this game but never have, even since his days at San Antonio.
