Wizards point guard John Wall met with the media on Monday to discuss his injury...

John Wall has missed the past 10 weeks with a "stress injury" and there's no timetable for his return. Anyway, you can read the full transcript here, but for the sake of preserving history, we've pieced together some of the saddest quotes, one-by-one. Being a Wizards fan is awful.

●"I want to play basketball, you know what I mean?"
●"[Blake Griffin] broke his kneecap. I think mine was just a stress fracture."
●"I was in the beginning stages of breaking my kneecap."
●"I had a little bit of cartilage problems."
●"Underneath my kneecap it's kind of rough."
●"I mean, you never know how it's going to go."

Ummm... ouch. Another franchise PG with his career in peril? This is not good for the league.

I really want to see this kid come back healthy, if he doesn't at least turn into a fringe All-Star I'm going to feel a little cheated as a fan. Too much talent not to put together some type of success.
