This game played out pretty much how I figured it would. The Cavs were more desperate to win and the Wizards were an opponent they felt they could beat.
Laet,Hughes,JJ and Kwame played terribly.
Our interior defense outside of Etan was terrible and the perimeter guys were waiving goodbye to guys all night long.
Kwame doesn't seem to be giving all out effort. He seems to get discouraged to quickly. If he misses a shot early in the game he seems to take himself out of the fold. He needs to start giving effort or get benched its simple as that.
I'm a Kwame guy and think its far too early to give up on him but he's not being aggresive enough on the court . He's playing far too passive on both ends.
Northeast mentions court awareness maybe I think its more his thinking that the ball isn't coming his way so he starts standing around.
Its still early though.
Not a real bad loss though just another one of those games. I expect them to come out against Philly with a ton of effort.
EJ got it wrong benching Arenas. This isn't college ball you don't need to teach anyone lessons thats why we have fines you don't cost your team a game possibly teaching someone a lesson about someting he already knew better about doing. EJ is gonna be judged by the bottomline wins and losses he needs to keep that in mind.
Playing Whitney I thought stalled our offensive rhythm .
All will be fine. Just a loss against a desperate team.
