James is -- they tried Miles out there as an experiment there in preseason, but it didn't work out nearly as good as James there.

This is the kind of game the 'old' Wizards would always lose. A team that we should beat but playing emotional and coming off of a tough loss. I expect us to lose this game but if we win I actually think it will be our most impressive win of the year.

my prediction

wiz win 93-77

Now heres what happens, The wiz put larry hughes on lebron (hughes has extemely long arms). Gilbert has 20+ points because of the cavs lack of defense. Lebron is shut down because he's now guarded by a guy who is a good size matchup for him. Kwame schools boozer the whole game but tallys only 14-16 points 8-7 rebounds and 4 assists (bold prediction for me). 40 points in the paint for the wiz. jarvis hayes has 10+ points again and makes 2 threes.

Now if hughes doesn't guard lebron and arenas does (which would be pretty stupid i think) then it's 93 - 86 wiz win.

Here's an interesting tidbit: we can lose this game and still be tied for first in our division. How often can we say something like that, even in this early part of the season?

As for the game, I think it'll be pretty entertaining and may stay relatively close, but I think Cleveland's not-so-hot defense will have trouble with our balanced and quick offense. I think there will be matchup problems (mainly height-wise) for both teams in the backcourt, but I believe our guys are going to take advantage of it better than the Cavs' players.

Me and you Northeast are on the same wavelength here my friend. I too expect us to lose this game. Not because we can't beat the Cavs but because at some point satisfaction is gonna set in and we don't have alot of time to prepare.

This game reminds me of the grizzlies came last season. When we played them and they had not one a game I knew we'd lose that one too.

At some point the desperation of the Cavs is gonna set in and they're gonna beat someone. This is a back to back for us and although we had a laugher we're still a young team. EJ's 2nd unit won't rescue the guys tonight. Big Z kills us and he's gonna push Laet right under the basket. Maybe Kwame finally has a decent game but I look for lebron to put on a show and for us to take a rather easy Loss not a blowout but a game where we trail most of the way.

If we win this game I too will be very impressed these are the type of games the Wizards of the past always lost.

That is the game I'm thinking about also. Like I mentioned earlier I will be very impressed if we win this game. We are catching the Cavs at home, after a tough loss on a Saturday where there will probably be a sellout, we everyone looking for a win.

We are up by one at the half. We are not playing tentative. I am impressed with James. He really plays like a veteran and must have been well schooled by his high school coach.

It is hard to take Etan out of the game. Kwame had a nose injury so he had limited time.

This one will probably go down to the wire.

Whitney starts the second half instead of Gilbert. There is no reason why yet.

We will miss him.

Without Arenas the offense has no movement (no one cutting).
