Sounds like rhetoric on both sides.
The author of the article takes the stance of looking at next year. Things siad to RUssel may have been said previously. I think it is a little early to bash Russell over his stats from last year, especially when he was hurt for a significant portion of the season.
Regardless of what went on in Utah, I think he is going to bring to the Wizards what everyone expects. A player that can play defense at the SG/SF spot and that will hit the open jumper, and play unselfishly.
